Council approves Lodging Tax Advisory Committee slate for 2025‑26

The Poulsbo City Council approved the slate of representatives to serve on the Lodging Tax Advisory Committee (LTAC) for the 2025‑26 cycle during the June 18 meeting.
Jeff (city staff) presented the recommended committee composition. The five voting LTAC members presented to council were: Councilmember Gary McVay (chair), Ashley Wolchuck (Fairfield Inn & Suites), Steven Evans (Hotel Scandia), Greg Enright (Cultural Arts Foundation of the Northwest), and Kathy Forsey (Viking Fest Corporation). City staff serve as non‑voting support for LTAC.
Councilmember moved and seconded a motion to approve the proposed LTAC representatives; the council approved the appointments by voice vote. Staff said the slate is the annual cycle appointment and the committee will begin work on the 2025‑26 lodging tax allocations.
The council did not modify the slate and instructed staff to proceed with LTAC membership and the committee’s calendar for review of lodging‑tax funding applications.
