County to accept $847,225 STRIVE grant for intimate-partner violence response; funds split among agencies

Hailey Cantaglia, representing the District Attorney's Office, told the committee the New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services awarded the county $847,225 to support a coordinated effort involving the Jamestown Police Department, the Salvation Army of Jamestown and county departments. "A total of $847,225 was awarded to Chautauqua County as a whole. This includes the Jamestown Police Department, the Salvation Army of Jamestown, the District Attorney's Office, the Sheriff's Office, and Probation," Cantaglia said.
