The commission voted to annex and zone a seven-acre portion of a 67-acre parcel on Jenny O'Brien Boulevard as light industrial; to annex and zone two vacant lots on Third Loop Road as NC 15 to permit single-family homes; to annex and zone two parcels on South Irby Street as Activity Center (allowing commercial redevelopment that will include the Salvation Army store and a car-wash); to annex a lot on Pelican Drive to RG2 to permit single-family homes; and to zone a Westfield Drive parcel NC 6.3 pending annexation for a proposed townhouse development.
