Commissioners confirmed there is cash available in the E911 equipment fund to cover the purchase and agreed the printer would be available for both Oliver and Mercer counties' E911 needs. Commissioner Mark asked staff to clarify what other office scanners/printers currently in county buildings can and cannot do; one commissioner said a previously purchased scanner does not print maps and asked that the recorder's office clarify earlier purchasing decisions.
On a motion and second, the commission voted to approve the purchase of the E911 map printer from the E911 equipment fund. Commissioners Mark, Jamie, Casey, Rick and Jean voted aye; the motion passed.
