Council members formally moved to appoint Royer, Gallien Schoeller and Walsh; a voice vote carried the motion. City staff will schedule an orientation and ask the new members to assist with an upcoming review of the city’s emergency preparedness and neighborhood outreach plans.
Council members also discussed outreach to CERT and other volunteer networks and asked staff to follow up on coordination with the county and neighboring cities for mutual-aid planning.
