On the exhibition item, a motion to approve the Tiburon Together exhibit in August with an Aug. 12 reception passed unanimously. “I moved to approve the Tiburon Together event and exhibit, in August with a reception date of August 12 in the lobby downstairs,” a commissioner said on the record. Staff clarified hang and take‑down dates: the recommended hang date would be the week of Aug. 4 to coincide with summer programming and to allow take‑down before other September exhibits.
Next steps: Staff will schedule hang/take‑down dates, coordinate promotion with the ARC and town calendar and finalize wall mounting and plaque placement details with the commission. Commissioners asked staff to consider future wall refreshes and to plan for subsequent commissions to revisit wall layout as additional artist‑laureates are named.
