Commissioner Nora (lead on the ad hoc) said an available presenter, Henry, will present personal stories and a bear dance; artist Retes (sometimes transcribed as Rettis/Retis) was proposed to do storytelling and to help identify additional performers or a contact at the Miwok history museum in Novato.
The commission discussed food and budget flexibility; with fewer performance costs, more funds could be applied to catered indigenous‑inspired food if desired. Commissioner Farrin recommended investigating Miwok Museum contacts and noted that Retes would supply a contact. The commission agreed to keep the Town Hall gallery open to visitors for one hour before the performance (2–3 p.m.) and to engage local media for promotion; Francisco Martinez from the ARC (local paper) indicated ARC coverage and calendar promotion likely.
