Staff recommended awarding the project to PC Construction in the amount of $8,094,300. The work includes replacement of internal filter components (not structural concrete tanks) and related valve and actuator replacements plus pipe-gallery painting and miscellaneous repairs. The committee approved the award by voice vote.
Staff characterized the filter work as a full replacement of the filter internals while retaining structural concrete tanks.
