The proposed initial term would run through Aug. 9, 2030, and the finance staff requested authority to award the contract in an amount not to exceed $881,187.50.
Williams said the $881,187.50 figure includes optional services the tollway typically performs in‑house and that the agency’s average annual spend on unclaimed‑property filings since 2017 has been about $100,000. When a committee member asked what ultimately happens to unclaimed property, Williams replied, “It gets turned over to the state.”
The committee moved and seconded placement of Finance Item 1 on the full board agenda; members approved the motion by voice vote. The committee also approved the minutes of its May 15, 2025, meeting during the same session.
With the committee’s recommendation, the contract award and related materials will appear on the Illinois State Toll Highway Authority board’s June agenda for final consideration. The committee adjourned after moving the item forward.
