Resident urges traffic-calming at Pinion and Green after stop-sign compliance concerns

Daniel Davies said he lives at the corner and hears drivers treat the stretch like a high-speed road, citing cars traveling “50, 60 miles an hour” on the approach. He asked the council to consider traffic-calming options such as speed bumps or painted crosswalks to make pedestrian crossings clearer and encourage compliance with the stop sign.
Council members accepted the comment for consideration; one council member offered to follow up and invited Davies to discuss the issue further with staff. No formal action was taken at the meeting.
