PENDER COUNTY, N.C. June 16, 2025 The Pender County Board of Commissioners approved a purchase order to implement a zero-trust architecture for endpoint protection after county IT staff recommended a vendor and professional-services package to reduce cyber risk.
What was approved: Information technology staff requested board authorization to purchase a zero-trust endpoint solution from ARC Technology Consulting totaling $48,165.60, including professional services for incident management and policy tuning. Staff said funding was available in the FY24-25 contracted-services line.
