Clackamas County commissioners voted April 8 to appoint three members to the Traffic Safety Commission, approving Michael Wilson to a fourth term and Robert Biddle and Patricia Olsen to their first terms.
County staff presented seven applications and recommended the three candidates. Commissioner Ben Savas moved to approve the slate; Commissioner Craig Schroeder seconded the motion. The clerk called the vote: Commissioner Paul West, "Aye"; Commissioner Schroeder, "Aye"; Commissioner Savas, "Aye"; Chair Jeff Roberts, "Aye." The motion passed 4–0.
The Traffic Safety Commission is an advisory body with 10–12 members and four-year terms; the appointments will expire in 2028.
Ending: The newly appointed members will serve on the commission and staff will follow normal onboarding and notifications; the appointments return the commission toward its full membership so it may continue advisory work on traffic safety issues.
