County staff told the board the original ARPA award purchased a command center trailer and included funding for a storage building that could also serve as a backup emergency operations center (EOC). A set of specifications is now available and staff asked the board to “let” the project for competitive bids. The board approved the motion to let the bid.
No contractor was selected at the meeting; the action authorizes staff to solicit competitive bids under the advertised specifications and the project will return to the board for award and contract approval after bid opening.
