Legislature moves bill to transfer CLTC lot for permanent Special Olympics Guam facility

Bill 6-38 COR, an act to transfer Lot Number 10063‑REM‑PTN‑1 to Special Olympics Guam for an administrative office and training facility, was advanced to third reading after senators approved amendments intended to protect public trust land and clarify who will perform a required survey.

Senator Augustine, the bill’s author, told colleagues the transfer would give Special Olympics Guam “a permanent home where they can train, thrive, and continue to inspire our island with the strength and determination” and described the parcel as suitable for offices and training.
