Prosecutor: Chief deputy prosecuting attorney Katie Hampton requested approval to enter a three-year service agreement with Advent to manage pretrial diversion and infraction-deferral program administration. Advent is now charging a nominal annual service fee of $1,200 to its government clients; the vendor agreed to waive the first-year fee so the county would not pay for 2025 but would begin payments Jan. 1, 2026. Hampton said the fee will be paid from the pretrial diversion and infraction-deferral user-fee funds and will not use county general-tax revenue.
