SoHo rooftop addition at 460 West Broadway deemed not publicly visible; committee raises no objection

Presenters provided photographs of a mock-up and representatives said the addition is not visible from the public thoroughfares. Committee members inspected provided images and stated they saw no public visibility and expressed no objection. The team said panels would be non-reflective with a textured antique-brass appearance and that the new parapet would match the height and materials of the existing parapet on the adjacent portion of the combined buildings.
Given the lack of public visibility and the limited scope, the committee offered no objection and the matter will proceed to LPC staff review.
