The Milford Planning and Zoning Commission took several procedural votes on June 11.
The commission approved the minutes from the May 20, 2025 regular meeting. Commissioner Luke Ambrose moved to accept the minutes as presented; the motion carried on an affirmative voice vote.
The commission voted to recommend Ordinance 03-2025 (development standards) to the Milford City Council. Commissioner Luke Ambrose moved to recommend the ordinance after staff presented a revised draft; a roll-call vote recorded Luke Ambrose, aye; Wayne Mulberry, aye; Les Whitby, yes. The motion passed. (For details on the ordinance changes, see the separate article.)
The commission also approved temporary membership adjustments. A motion to appoint Les Whitby as a voting member and to appoint Luke Ambrose as chair pro tem was approved by voice vote. Later in the meeting the commission made a further motion to place Les Whitby back as chair and Luke Ambrose as a voting member; that motion also carried by affirmative voice votes.
All votes recorded at the meeting were procedural and forwarded the ordinance to the City Council or adjusted internal membership and records; no final zoning changes were adopted at this meeting.
