The Ogden School District board voted to approve a proposal to implement an artificial‑intelligence system for asset and warranty management and district facilities ticketing.
District staff described a new system developed by a vendor the presenter referred to as WarrantyHive, which uses document ingestion and AI to extract warranty language, vendor contact information and maintenance requirements from construction operations-and-maintenance manuals. The system can generate preventative‑maintenance alerts, create and route maintenance tickets, and provide searchable warranty and asset records on mobile devices.
