During officer elections the committee considered competing nominations for vice chair. A nomination for Rebecca was declined; the motion on the floor elected Laura as vice chair. The committee then nominated and elected Rebecca Fockel as clerk. Both motions were called to a voice vote and approved by the committee.
The committee approved warrants numbered 44, 45, 46 and 47 on a motion by a committee member; the motion was made and seconded and carried on a voice vote.
Later the committee voted to enter executive session “to discuss strategy with respect to collective bargaining or litigation,” citing the standard exemption that an open meeting might have a detrimental effect on the bargaining or litigating position.
