County amends professional services agreement with CBS Accounting to include treasurer services

The Lake County Board of County Commissioners approved an amendment June 5 to a professional services agreement with CBS Accounting LLC to include previously unbudgeted treasurer services in the contract scope.
Staff explained the original PSA did not include services to the county treasurer even though the treasurer had been billed separately during the year. The amendment incorporates those services into the PSA’s scope and budget; the hourly rate remains at $1.95 per hour as in the original agreement.
The board approved the amendment unanimously. Staff said this is an administrative correction to align the scope, billing and budget for ongoing accounting services; no new procurement was required and no additional county personnel actions were discussed.
