Carlsbad Housing Commission backs 2024–25 report and 2025–26 work plan, sets October review of meeting times

The Carlsbad Housing Commission voted June 12 to recommend that the City Council approve the commission’s July 2024–June 2025 work‑plan report and the draft fiscal year 2025–26 work plan.

Housing Services Manager Christian Gutierrez presented the report and the draft work plan, saying the commission met eight times during the year and worked toward five goals and 16 specific tasks. He told commissioners the commission had reviewed the public housing authority annual and five‑year plans, an amended Housing Choice Voucher administrative plan, a new county agreement for VASH project‑based vouchers and the CDBG consolidated five‑year plan, and that staff would forward both the annual report and the FY25–26 work plan to City Council for formal approval.
