Land use commission approves consent items covering permits, reports and ordinance referrals

The Land Use and Planning Commission voted to approve consent agenda items 2 through 8 and items 13 and 14 during a regularly scheduled meeting, the presiding official announced before moving to contested matters.

The consent package included: adoption of environmental findings and a categorical exemption extension noted as “ICICúa” in the record (report dated May 5, 2025); a request to prepare an ordinance recommended by the city attorney; a set of planning department reports and recommended technical modifications to multiple code sections; and acceptance of an environmental impact report (EIR) appendix and related attachments for a separate agenda item. The presiding official said these matters were read into the record so they would “conste en actas.”
