The Clovis Industrial Development Corporation board approved reimbursement of $11,090 on a motion passed at its meeting after staff said the subscription had already been paid.
Tina, a staff member who presented the request, said the payment covers the board’s annual ZoomProspector/GIS listing service and that the organization had already paid the vendor. "It's 11,090," she said when asked about the amount, and confirmed, "We've already paid it. And I've included a copy of the check and the or the canceled check." The board voted in favor after a motion for approval; no roll-call tally was recorded in the meeting transcript.
The presenter said the subscription lists commercial real estate in Curry County on ZoomProspector and links those listings to the New Mexico Partnership map, making local properties visible to site selectors who use that statewide tool. She told board members the reimbursement must be approved at the current meeting to be charged to the city's current fiscal year budget.
Board discussion was brief. One member described the listing service as valuable to commercial brokers and property owners, saying broadly that getting property exposure "is a good place, and I think this is money well spent." With no further discussion, the motion passed.
The board also approved the previous meeting's minutes as amended to correct a wording item described in the record as changing "residents" to "non residents."
