Captain Stork of the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office reported the applicant had completed required paperwork and passed background checks; the sheriff’s office was not opposed to the application. Owners Casey Sabahar and Haley Sabahar were present for the hearing.
Commissioner Rice moved to approve the license; Commissioner Tarkanian seconded. The motion passed unanimously; the board recorded the action as a 6–0 vote.
The license approval is conditioned on issuance of a certificate of occupancy for the market at 2299 Main Street in Genoa, the sheriff’s office and liquor‑board staff said.
