Bellevue council approves rezoning, subdivision waivers and multiple public-works contracts

Bellevue City Council on June 3, 2025, adopted Ordinance No. 4185 to amend the city zoning map for property near South 30th Street and Cornhusker Road and unanimously approved multiple contracts, grants and budget-related items covering sidewalks, roadwork and professional services.

The council’s approvals at the regularly scheduled 6 p.m. meeting included engineering and construction awards, a memorandum of understanding with Sarpy County and several Community Development Block Grant (CDBG)–funded sidewalk contracts. All motions called during the meeting passed with unanimous votes recorded as “All voting yes. Motion carries.”
