On the fairgrounds, Floyd reported very high attendance during the week: nightly crowds of an estimated 750+, a Queen’s crowning with roughly 1,200 attendees at one event, heavy camper use and only minor facility incidents that the maintenance staff and sheriff’s diversion crew promptly addressed. He said cleaning and post‑event restoration are underway and estimated the facility will be fully reconditioned by mid‑ to late next week.
