Gates County appoints Sam Solomon to Board of Adjustments

Solomon spoke briefly at the meeting about his business and technical background: "I've got a lot of experience in business dealing from small and remote offices to international and national business... We did cybersecurity, computers and a lot of wireless and computer work," he said, and added he wants to help local businesses succeed.
The board voted without discussion; the motion and second were made on the record and the vote was unanimous, 5-0.
Ending Solomon's appointment fills an open seat on the Board of Adjustments. No term length or ordinance number was specified in the meeting minutes.
