Carroll County supervisors approve plat vacation for Noble Avenue property and renew HIPAA training contract

The board next considered renewing a HIPAA service agreement through ISAC. County staff (Dalton) described the contract as a renewal of the county's participation in ISAC's online HIPAA training service. Dalton noted that the online service differs from the prior on-site training and costs $1,750 for the renewal period. The board voted to renew the agreement; the motion passed on a voice vote.
Both actions were presented as routine items with little discussion. The public hearing on the plat vacation produced no public testimony, and staff described the HIPAA service as a returning/continuing program for the county.
