A motion to accept the lowest qualified bid from Premier Landscaping Inc. for $31,410 and authorize the mayor to sign the contract passed unanimously, 6-0. Council members praised staff efforts and expressed frustration about homeowners on the adjacent Sedgwick County side who altered aesthetics; no changes to the award were made.
Staff will execute the contract and continue limited coordination with HOAs and Evergy to finalize outstanding items.
