South Gate council honors outgoing Miss South Gate court, introduces 2025 court

"You guys represented our city very well," Mayor Maria Davila said, thanking the outgoing court for representing South Gate both locally and in other cities.
Lindsay Cox, Miss South Gate coordinator, noted the group included recent graduates and said the incoming court had already begun its year. Cox listed members of the outgoing and incoming courts and thanked them for their service and for representing the city at public events.
The council paused to take photographs with the court. No formal council action or vote on policy accompanied the presentations; the agenda item consisted of certificates and introductions.
