The Tigard City Council on May 20 adopted Resolution 25‑14 to commend Maddie Vogel for her service as the Tigard High School student envoy for the 2024–25 school year.

The resolution acknowledges the city’s desire to improve connections with students and schools and praises Vogel for providing monthly updates on events, activities and achievements at Tigard High. A motion to adopt the resolution was made and seconded; the city recorder conducted a roll‑call vote and the resolution was adopted by unanimous vote of councilors present.

Vogel received congratulations from council members and the council posed for a group photo following the vote.
