The Washington County Board of Education approved a memorandum of understanding on May 20 with the Town of Boonsboro and the Board of County Commissioners to realign Campus Avenue on the Boonsboro campus.
Staff said the tri-party agreement covers realignment work on Campus Avenue adjacent to district property. A board member moved to approve the memorandum of understanding “by and between the Board of Education of Washington County, the Board of County Commissioners of Washington County, the mayor and town of Boonesborough for the realignment of Campus Avenue on the Boonesborough campus.” The motion passed unanimously.
No construction schedule or cost-sharing details were discussed in open session at the time of approval.
