Staff said one quoted total for a 4‑foot fence was roughly $15,000 and the 5‑foot option roughly $20,000; the donors indicated they would donate toward the chosen option and install the fence, with M and C Fence named as installer in the proposal packet. Councilwoman Erhard noted the Kiwanis Club of Brooksville had also contributed toward making the splash pad available and could contribute funds here.
A motion to accept the donation and proceed with purchase and installation passed 5–0; staff will coordinate installation if the donors and vendor confirm scope and price. Council members emphasized gratitude for the community donation.
