The Town Commission of Highland Beach on Sept. 18 adopted the final budget for fiscal year 2025–26, approving a combined total of $32,241,402 for all funds, the town manager said.
Resolution 2025-023, the second reading and public hearing on the budget, covers the general fund, discretionary sales tax, building fund, and water and sewer funds. Town staff confirmed the required public advertising and compliance with Florida notice requirements prior to the hearing.
The commission opened the public hearing, heard no public comment and voted to adopt the resolution. Roll-call votes recorded affirmative votes from Vice Mayor Stern, Commissioner Chaunoski, Commissioner Goldberg and Mayor Moore; Commissioner Peters was not present. The motion carried.
Town staff indicated the total budget figure encompasses all town funds and that the budget will now proceed into implementation and routine monitoring during the fiscal year.
