The Inver Grove Heights City Council approved several licensing items after public hearings with no public comment.
City Clerk Becky Kiernan presented two massage-license applications: Sunny Fang applied for a massage-therapist license and Golden Spa at 5836 Blaine Avenue applied for a new business license; Ione Furness applied for a massage license intended for Oi Spa at 7741 Amana Trail. Kiernan said the police department completed background investigations and found no basis for denial; staff recommended approval. The council closed the public hearing and approved the licenses.
Planning and community-development staff reported six rental-housing-license applications: five new and one renewal. Director Zemer said all applicants had paid fees and completed requirements and staff recommended approval. No members of the public spoke. The council voted to approve the six rental licenses and the massage-business and therapist licenses.
Clerk Kiernan and staff will complete the licensing records and notify applicants of approvals.
