Airport consultant contract approved; two FAA/state reimbursement grants authorized

White County Commissioners approved a general consulting-services agreement with NGC as the airport transitions consultant and authorized two grant documents tied to airport work: a fuel-farm reimbursement agreement and a south-approach reimbursement application.

The airport manager told commissioners Abigail (county counsel) had reviewed the NGC contract and found it in order; the contract is a general services consulting agreement that will be followed by project-specific contracts as needed. Commissioners approved the consulting engineering services agreement and asked staff to sign and proceed so the county could formally notify the FAA and state agencies about the consultant transition.

Staff also reported that a fuel-farm reimbursement grant had arrived and that a south-approach reimbursement packet was under review pending additional documentation requested by FAA and state DOT staff. The manager requested authorization to approve and sign the fuel-farm grant and the south-approach documents as they come through to avoid delays; commissioners authorized signature and approved the grants in motion.
