Commissioners approve Juvenile Crime Prevention Council plan and reappoint members through 2027

The reappointments approved at the meeting were: Jamie Little (Ashe County Schools), Brent Wilkins (chief court counselor), Adam Stum (county manager), Paige Stevens (Daymark), Alberta Swain (Parks and Recreation), Christine Christel Marsh (Via Health) and Matthew Levshuk (assistant district attorney).
A motion to approve the plan and a motion to reappoint the listed members were made, seconded and approved; the transcript records "all in favor" followed by confirmation the motions carried. The JCPC administrative assistant was noted as attending a simultaneous meeting in Alleghany County; commissioners were asked to sign the plan for JCPC administrative processing.
