Training and personnel development were also reported. The Warden said 289 officers attended various trainings during the reporting period, including weapons qualification, intake procedures, crisis-intervention-team training, K-9 training, PREA training and leadership courses. The Warden said five employees separated from service and multiple new hires had started in recent weeks; he described an overall net improvement of four staff on the rolls since the last meeting.
