Dan DeWitt of the Department of Public Works told commissioners the contracts were executed under Resolution 2504, passed after recent flooding, to reopen roads, remove stream debris and perform other emergency work. "This will be the first of several batches," DeWitt said, noting the work covered creek cleanups, hauling rock and dumpster services for affected municipalities.
