County committee approves three appointments to Kenosha County Library System Board

Tapp described Hughes as a retired business owner, a Town of Randall supervisor, a member of the plan commission and a past member of a community library board; Hughes was not present.
Chris Allen, who is on staff at the Kenosha County Historical Society and is a member of Kenosha Community Media, the Kenosha Public Library Board and the Kenosha Historic Preservation Commission, was nominated to fill the seat vacated by Michelle (surname not specified in committee materials). Allen was present and offered brief remarks.
Eleanor Decker, a junior buyer at G3 Electronics and a resident of District 22 who has served on a community library board since April 2024, was nominated to succeed Nancy McCamp; Decker was present. Tapp said Decker’s appointment responds to membership changes among the county’s member libraries and that the appointees would serve without pay through December 2028 or until successors are named.
