Schererville council accepts $8,120.28 in donations covering multiple departments for May

Tibble Nature Reserve preserve fund received $600 in memory of Joe Guzman. Troxell gave totals as $7,417.54 in monetary donations and $710.74 in in-kind donations for a grand total of $8,120.28 for May.
A council member moved to approve acceptance of the donations and the council voted 3-0 to accept them. No restrictions or conditions on the donations were recorded during the meeting.
