Playground and GlowTech projects moving forward; fire truck restoration expected this fall

Staff updated the committee on several capital projects. The Jones Point park project is proceeding: staff expect the required survey to be complete by the next meeting and said the playground equipment has been ordered with lead times reportedly reduced from 20 weeks to roughly 4–5 weeks, improving prospects for summer installation. The Jones Point scope includes a playground, a walking path and a basketball court; staff said final permitting and survey work will determine wetlands/conservation impacts.
