The Holyoke City Community Preservation Committee voted to approve the March meeting minutes and to create a preservation-plan subcommittee.
Committee Chair Jay called for a motion to accept the March minutes; the motion carried on a roll call with Michael, Meg, Pauline, Sarah, Mary and Jason voting yes. Later in the meeting the committee voted, again by roll call, to create a preservation-plan subcommittee and for the chair to appoint its members; the motion was carried unanimously (Michael, Meg, Helene, Sarah, Maribel, Mary and Jason voted yes).
The votes were procedural but do affect committee workflow. Approving the minutes completes the record of the prior meeting; creating the preservation-plan subcommittee begins a multi-month process the committee said will include public outreach, surveys and drafting updates to the committee’s preservation plan.
