Board members asked technical questions about the scope of demolition and which exterior walls would be reused; the applicant said usable exterior wall sections would be preserved where feasible. No members of the public spoke in favor or opposition during the public comment portion for this item. After the presentation the board chair moved to allow the petition; the motion passed on a voice vote.
The decision authorizes the work as presented to the board and preserves the existing roof peak, per the applicant’s plans submitted at the hearing. No condition to require additional materials or color renderings was recorded on the motion.
