The Grass Valley City Council on June 10 approved an updated administrative agreement for the Parking and Business Improvement Area and authorized distribution of $70,000 to the Grass Valley Downtown Association (GVDA), the nonprofit that runs downtown events and marketing.
City Manager Tim Keeser told the council the revised agreement modernizes billing, invoicing and reporting to match current practices and improve transparency, and that the GVDA will receive 80% of the requested funds initially and may request the remaining 20% after expenditure with quarterly reports to the city manager.
