The council approved a budget amendment to the city’s governmental, proprietary and capital funds ordinance for fiscal 2025. Staff said the change formalizes earlier council decisions, rolls over some 2024 special-revenue funds and reinstates roughly $320,000 in the 2025 budget for a final payment on Motorola radios that were ordered in 2024 but not received until 2025. A staff presenter said the final payment had been mistaken for a duplicate invoice during preparation of the agenda; the council voted to adopt the amendment.
