Grayson County commissioners approved two orders on Tuesday renaming sections of county roads to improve addressing continuity and reduce confusion for emergency responders.
The court voted to redesignate a section of West Farmington Road as Blythe Road (Order No. 2025-005) after a public hearing conducted under Texas Transportation Code §251.013(d). Jim Acheson, mayor, told the court that “Portions of the road are within our city limits,” and asked the county to consider the change for continuity.
