CHARLTON, Mass. — The Town of Charlton Planning Board on Wednesday voted to continue multiple public hearings, accepted an ANR lot plan and approved routine minutes. The board also deferred a solar decommissioning-bond decision pending further legal review.
Public hearings continued - The board opened a public hearing for a site-plan modification request from Brent and Nancy Lou for a doggy daycare at the existing train station building (extension of hours and approval for overnight stays). The hearing was continued to July 16 by voice vote. - A public hearing for GEO Properties LLC’s multifamily project at 35 North Main Street was also continued to July 16 by motion and voice vote.
Administrative actions and approvals - The board voted to accept the planning board minutes for May 7, 2025. - The board voted to accept an ANR (approval-not-required) plan combining parcels on North Main Street (plan of land 20-1, 20-3, 20-5 North Main Street) so one lot will be enlarged and other lots combined; the motion passed by voice vote.
