He said staff must know the commission’s direction before producing a full, itemized budget.
Commissioners and staff discussed county practice and enforcement. Several commissioners said county pickup and sheltering services have not consistently met municipal needs; others emphasized the need to follow state and county law. The discussion did not adopt or amend the draft ordinance and no vote was taken at the workshop.
