Tom, a city staff member presenting the item, said South Ogden offered to pay "around $6,000 and change" to help cover the difference between Weber Human Services' budget and the amount required to keep a senior-center employee on staff. Tom later stated the figure as $6,069 and said the contribution would include an inflationary clause of 3 percent for COLA and CPI adjustments that would go to the employee.
A motion to approve Resolution 25-10 was moved and seconded and the roll-call vote was recorded as unanimous.
